Thank you for visiting Doodleman® a family run business that is growing from strength to strength.
Doodleman® started life in 2001 as a part time hobby operating from a small corner of the spare room, initially we made personalised gifts for family and friends. From the positive response we received from this it was suggested that we try and sell our personalised gifts on the internet through eBay.
After a two year period of 'learning' our eBay business gradually built up with orders coming in from as far afield as America, Canada and Australia, coupled with the word of mouth business that was increasing locally through friends, family and work colleagues we made the decision to invest in converting the business from a 'hobby' into a serious venture and in February 2005 we started trading as a Limited company.
Soon after this we launched our own website, with business now increasing quite rapidly and after long discussions with my family and with the support of my wife Carol, I decided to bite the bullet and in November 2005 gave up my very well paid day job, during this time we had an office built in the garden, Doodleman® Ltd now had it's own 'premises'. Just under one year later in October 2006 my wife Carol and I opened our first shop in London Road South, Lowestoft on the East Coast.
As you will see through our website we now offer a complete range of services from a peronalised mug for Mum right up to complete brand developement for businesses new and old as well as promotional merchandising, with our complete in house design service, digital print, embroidery and new state of the art direct to garment facilities we believe we can offer a complete personal service all under one roof.
With clients ranging from successful fledgling businesses such as London Road Inc. Ltd., Take That tribute band Sod That, music video production company Dangerous Brothers Productions right the way up to Waveney District Council - The Sunrise Coast and the Metropolitan Police proves we are no longer small time and have grown into a successful business without losing that personal touch.
